- PC video telephony is one potential use of DSVD. The real killer
- app, though is playing DOOM through the modem while you're screaming
- at your opponent. :-)

- ITU Recommendations V.70, V.75, V.76, and V.80 are nearing the approval
- stage. Once the voice coder is standardized (G.something), you can
- expect to see compatible products on the market in a few seasons.
- Anything on the market now was designed in advance of the international
- standard.
